Tammy

Tammy joined Smithfield Animal Hospital back in 2014. Prior to working in the veterinary field, she worked many years in cosmetology, and another many years in the travel industry, and then finally finding her calling here at Smithfield Animal Hospital. Her compassion and love for animals started as a child growing up on a small farm with just some cows, pigs, and chickens. It is also here at Smithfield Animal Hospital that she finally has come full circle, not only getting to work with our furry companions, but also a great fun staff, which also includes working with her bestie Kristi, whom she's known since the age of seven. Tammy also attended Penn Foster College to earn her degree in the Certified Veterinary Technician program along side her bestie who has taught her everything from a simple nail trim, to drawing blood for diagnostic procedures, and everything else in between. When she is not cuddling and loving on your furry children, she is spending time outdoors swimming, hiking and loving on her own three spoiled furry kids, Sophie, Hannah, Mila.
