Dr. Nicole Carney

Associate Veterinarian

DVM

Dr. Carney grew up on her family farm here in East Stroudsburg. In pursuit of her childhood dream to be a veterinarian, she attended Delaware Valley University for her undergraduate studies and graduated as DVM from Ontario Veterinary College in 2019. She enjoys treating all different species of animals. She had started her career being a small animal and exotics veterinarian, completing among other things a femur fracture repair on a red fox, humerus fracture repair on a black bear cub, and successful treatments on various wild bird and reptile species. Dr. Carney is very passionate about client education, ensuring each and every client understands what’s going on with their pet, and that the best treatment plan is implemented. She and her husband now live with their young son on the same family farm she grew up on. They have a chocolate lab named Moose and black lab named Lucy. They also have a cat, mini horse, chickens, turkeys and pigs. In her free time you can find her fishing on the Delaware river, camping, or spending time working on her farm with her blind Father. Dr. Carney is very excited to serve her local community that she has called home her entire life.
